Which Decking Is Right for My Deck in Columbus, OH?

A one minute quiz fromColumbus Custom Decks, deck builders inColumbus, OH and Central Ohio. It points you at pressure treated pine, capped composite or capped PVC, and tells you why.

What the three choices actually mean

Almost every deck in Central Ohio comes down to one of three boards. Pressure treated pine is the cheapest to install and the most work to own. Capped composite sits in the middle: a composite core wrapped in a polymer shell, no staining, and the most common choice for a family deck. Capped PVC is the premium end, the most resistant to moisture and staining, and the usual pick where a deck sits in full sun or around a pool.

You can read the detail on each one before or after the quiz: wood decks, composite decking and the deck cost guide. If you would rather just talk it through, call (380) 213-1042 and we will tell you honestly which one suits your house, even when it is the cheaper option.
